MEET THE FAMILY
At the heart of our Silvan flower farm is a family who live and breathe flowers. Mark, our farmer, discovered his love for growing flowers early on, which led him to complete a Bachelor of Horticulture at Melbourne University. For over 30 years, he and Belinda have worked side by side, nurturing the farm with care, creativity, and a deep respect for the land.
Belinda, a trained florist, brings warmth and artistry to everything she touches. She runs our Burwood East Farm Shop and shares her love of floristry through weekly workshops, inspiring others to experience the joy of flowers.
Lainey, the eldest, started helping out when she was just 10. Now 21 and freshly graduated with a Bachelor of Agriculture from Melbourne University, she carries the family’s passion forward, experienced in every aspect of the business—from the fields to wholesale and retail.
Tyler, 19, the middle child, works alongside Mark in the fields—and he’ll tell you he does most of the work! He has a particular love for sweet peas and garden roses, tending every plant with energy, dedication, and curiosity.
Cleo, 15, the youngest, is heading into her VCE. When she’s not studying or performing in drama, she helps behind the scenes with our social media, bringing creativity, energy, and a youthful spark to the farm.
